Hope it works out for you! I did the same thing, about 25 or so years ago. Shot a "pilot" (on FILM) and everything. (It was to be a local show, with a group of people playing the wacky staff of the fictional TV station's horror movie show.) It went nowhere, but some dude stole my characters (their names, looks, everything) and turned it into a series of comic strips. Oh well! :P

I'd air shows like Man with a Camera, Robin Hood, Ramar of the Jungle, Dragnet, Sherlock Holmes, Annie Oakley Ozzie and Harriet, Jack Benny on a monday-friday basis and on the weekend afternoon's i'd dedicate to the westerns... like Kit Carson, Cowboy G-Men, Sky King, 26 Men, Judge Roy Bean, you know? Also sat and sunday morning's i'd dedicate to classic cartoons

Love all those old shows, but my #1 favorite '50s TV series is...Science Fiction Theatre, with Truman Bradley! :)
